“Morley’s family thanks everyone for the outpouring of love, respect and the recognition of his leadership.  Also appreciated are the expressions of the deep links of personal and workplace relationships which were forged over time.
I believe that Morley would have felt honoured and humbled by your expressions.
We, the family thank you for your sympathy and condolence during this time of grief.  I know that you also grieve for his passing. Although we all have collective grief for the loss of Morley’s life and have not been able to mourn with each other, I trust that you have resilience and draw strength from all of the messages.
Wishing everyone peace, love and strong relationships
Morley, “ may you rest easy in grace and love.
Helene and the family”

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Morley Donald Ceresne on February 21, 2021.
Mourning his loss are his dearest Helene and her family, his beloved children Michelle and Joel and all of his extended family and friends.
Morley, also known as Mo, will be dearly missed by all that knew him. He had a zest for life that included travelling the world, entertaining his family and friends, eating decadent food and wine, gardening and enjoying a well deserved cigar at the end of the day. Morley was ambitious and well respected at work. He worked 50+ years in the civil service, retiring in the position of Assistant Director.
The family would like to express appreciation for the excellent care and empathy given by the doctors and nurses of Markham Stouffville Hospital.
A private funeral will be held in his honour. Should family and friends desire, memorial contributions may be sent to the Reena Foundation and/or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
Morley will live on in our hearts, thoughts and prayers forever.

Memorial donations may be made to REENA Foundation 905-763-8254 Ext. 3630 https://reenafoundation.akaraisin.com/Donation/Event/DonationType.aspx?seid=3470&mid=48&Lang=en-CA or The Heart and Stroke Foundation 416-489-7111 https://www.heartandstroke.ca/how-you-can-help/ways-to-give
