Morris Davis passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his family, after a brave and courageous battle with Parkinson’s Disease. Morris is survived by his devoted and loving wife Annette; his children Jay and Lisa, his son-in-law John; his grandchildren, Amanda (Dean) Danielle (James), Brianne (Scott), Daniel (Cass), Jordan (Nikole) and Jacob; and his 3 great grandchildren, Mason, Mia and Cole.  Brother of Lily and Joe Carmisino, brother in-law of Paul and Kitty Tepperman and Rose and Ernie Gelman and uncle to nieces and nephews and their husbands and wives in Canada and the U.S.  

Our heartfelt thanks to his caregivers Vic, Gigi, JR, Ornella, Jonathan, Precious and Kadi for the wonderful care given to “Mr. Morris”

Funeral for Morris will take place graveside, Thursday, December 8th, at Pardes Shalom Cemetery (Adath Israel Section).

Shiva will be observed at 400 Walmer Rd. West Tower, Apartment 2104.

Memorial donations may be made to Sarah and Chaim Neuberger Holocaust Education Centre (https://www.holocaustcentre.com/) or to Parkinson Society Canada (https://www.parkinson.ca/).

It is requested that people attending the Shiva must wear a mask and be vaccinated .

I was so sorry to hear about Mel's passing after his long battle with Parkinson's. He's in a happy place without the pain of this disease. I met Mel in 1971 at Bell Canada in midtown Toronto and we became good friends and golf partners over the years. We enjoyed meeting Annette and bless her and their family for their years of friendship. Mel always had a big kind heart and a great sense of humour. He will definitely hold a place in our hearts forever.
