Morris was the devoted husband of Celeste (a”h), and cherished father of Trevor (Melanie), Colin (Ilona), and Hayley (Mike). He was a proud and loving grandfather to Shai (Ahuva), Elisheva, Yaelle, Simona (Yerachmiel), Jaydene, Yehuda (Avital), Tova Bracha (Aaron), Rowan, Dovid, Gavriel, Sarah Esther, Ezra, Nesi, and Tehila; and great-grandfather to Tzvi Aryeh, Techelet, Eliezer, Nechama Bayla, Akiva, Gershon, and Tzipporah.
He was predeceased by his wife Celeste, his brother Ralph, sister Estelle, and his parents.
Born in South Africa, Morris built a life grounded in integrity, kindness, and quiet strength. He and Celeste moved to Calgary in 1979, where they raised their family and built lifelong friendships, later relocating to Toronto in 2009.
A respected accountant, Morris approached his work and his life with precision and care. Beyond numbers, he was a man of deep appreciation for music and art, often moved by beauty and creativity in all its forms. Those who knew him best remember his gentle nature, quiet generosity, and wonderful sense of humour.
Morris’s legacy is one of warmth, wisdom, and love for his family and community. He will be remembered always with affection and gratitude.
May his memory be for a blessing — יהי זכרו ברוך.
