Samson, Morris, our hero, passed peacefully on Wednesday, August 17, 2016 at Princess Margaret Hospital. Morris Samson, beloved husband of Marilyn. Loving father of Emily and Cady. A passionate leader, kind and dedicated family man, fiercely loyal and defender of all those less fortunate. Funeral services will be held at Steeles Memorial Chapel, 350 Steeles Ave West on Sunday, August 21, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. Interment: Beth Tzedec Memorial Park. Shiva: 60 Berwick Ave, Toronto, main floor social room. Shiva visits Sunday following the interment and Monday through Thursday from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Evening services Sunday and Thursday at 7:30 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to Beit Halochem Canada, Aid to Disabled Veterans of Israel 905-695-0611.

I learned of Dr. Samson's passing with great regret. Morris was an individual who would state his opinions and move forward with high fidelity to his principles. He had a great deal of influence over others, and in recent years, I had come to appreciate that he was willing to look at life differently at times. He was willing to grow, to learn and to change. He was charismatic, a visionary, a man far ahead of his time but mostly he was a deeply caring individual, forever the champion for those in need publically and privately. Dr Samson l will miss you so very much! I have been with KRAH since it first opened over 30 years ago. You have been a wonderful vet to all of my many furry kids over the past years!! I will never ever forget you. l remember fondly when a friend of mine who breed Chihuahuas got very ill and had to give up her dogs - you told me without any hesitation to go help her and bring back some of the dogs if they need us! He promised me and said not to worry we will find good homes for all of them ! Well l brought back 6 and he did - we found wonderful homes for all. I will miss you so much Dr M - you were one of the best !!! RIP DEAR VET !As

I have no doubt that I speak for all my childhood friends....we were such a close crowd growing up in Chomedey in those days...I am so very sad, devastated and sorry for your loss. It's a great loss. Morris was a wonderful man, with a great heart. He accomplished a lot in life. We toured in Israel together when he visited here last in September. His love for Israel was boundless. He spoke so beautifully about his wife and daughters. Morris had so many unfulfilled dreams. We miss him.
