Morry Yashinsky on September 7th, 2019 passed away at Sunnybrook Hospital, peacefully, at age 89, surrounded by his loving family.  Beloved husband of Jean for 65 years.  Devoted and cherished father and father-in-law to Karen and Abe, Darrel and Nicole, Penney and Irving and the late Allan (zl), Allison and Michael. Adoring Grandfather of Haley, Ryan, Brent and Sivan, Hilary, Mitchell, Brittany, Noah, Dalia, Elan, Daniel and Benjamin.  Proud Great-Grandfather of Maya. Dear brother to Harvey and brother-in-law to the late Renee (zl).  Will be missed by his many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends, and all who had the pleasure and honour to know him.  Morry will be remembered for his humour, dignity, strength of character, integrity, deep devotion to family, his love of sports, creative green thumb, and his kind soul.  The family is grateful for the kind care and support received from the staff at Sunnybrook Hospital and all who helped make him comfortable each and every day.

Shiva will be held at 158 Katerina Avenue, Thornhill.
Shiva will take place following interment on Monday, September 9 until 9:00 pm,
Tuesday to Thursday, with visitors welcome from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm, Friday from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm.  Services held daily at 7:15 pm.
 We will miss him forever and for always and in our hearts.
