We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Murray Roher on Sunday March 9th, 2025, at the age of ninety four.

Beloved husband of Annette. Loving father and father-in-law of Bruce and Debra, Rick and Luna, Marty (Sarah), Zev and Alanna.

Adored Zaida to Michael and Jenna (Jonathan), Zach (Taylor) and Haley, Brennan and Casey, Josh, and Evan. Dear brother and sister-in-law of Ian and Janet Roher, and the late Howard and Susan Roher. Dear brother and brother-in-law of the late Eleanor and the late Jack Siegel. Dear brother-in-law of Toby and the late Joey Tanenbaum, Marilyn Hochman, Myrna and Gary Gutmann, Bibs and Walter Soles and Barry Hochman.

A very special thank you to his primary caregivers Arlene and Stella.

He was with the love of his life for over 70 years who upon seeing her for the first time announced that ‘he was going to marry that girl’. He built a successful career as an accountant and accomplished investor. He was a true family man who devoted his time to his children and grandkids; fishing, camping, boating, skating, traveling and his favorite passion golfing which is a sport he has instilled in us.

He had many friends and a zest for life. When he took a course as a hobby (baking, sea navigation, etc), it usually ended with him eventually graduating as a chef or captain. He was a sage, meticulous and devoted to the politics of the day.

His presence will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.
