Myrtle Wise - Steeles Memorial Chapel

On Sunday, February 14th, peacefully at home surrounded by her family, Myrtle Wise, beloved wife of the late Saul (Sonny) Wise. Loving mother of Marilyn and Sheldon Berg, Garry Wise and Sandra Bekhor, Elaine and Mark Atlin, and the late Shelley Wise. Sister and sister in law of Mylene and the late Leo Solomon, David and Ruth Solomon, and Carole and Murray Green. Cherished Bubbie of Allison and Jay Steinberg, Jordan Berg, Stacey and Josh Silver, Benjamin and Marly Atlin. Loved Gigi of Paige and Zoe Steinberg and Joseph Silver. Lovingly remembered by her many nieces and nephews. Funeral services on Monday February 15, 2016 at 1:30 p.m. at Beth Emeth Synagogue 100 Elder St. Interment: Stashover Slipia Section of Dawes Rd Cemetery. Shiva: 18 Tansley Rd, Thornhill. Shiva visits following the interment and from 1:00 pm daily through Sunday morning, Friday 1 – 3 p.m., Saturday 7 – 9 p.m. Evening services Monday through Thursday at 7:00 p.m. Morning service on Sunday at 9:00 a.m. Memorial donations may be made to the Tammy Latner Centre for Palliative Care 416-586-4800 ext 7884. info@tlpc.org

I have wonderful memories of visiting you on weekends to celebrate birthdays and other family events, or just to play. I was very lucky to grow up having cousins like you of my own age, and to have an aunt who made the effort to open her home to her family.
