Natalia Mashcovich
With great sadness our beloved Natalia passed away on Saturday, August 5, 2023 at the age of 94. She was the matriarch of the family who lived a humble life with love and grace. Born in Moscow on August 30, 1928 as the only child to Chaim and Rachel. At the age of 14, her family moved to Tbilisi, Georgia and she grew into a beautiful lovely young woman. She met her late-loving husband, Jacob, and married shortly after in 1952. Her three wonderful children Raya and twins Arie and Michael were all born in Tbilisi, Georgia and made a loving home, as well as graduating as a teacher of literature. In 1972, she immigrated to Israel, always wanting to live and grow with her family in the Holy Land. In 1988, a new experience awaited in Canada with her husband as they reunited with their daughter, Raya. She flourished in her new surroundings and soon welcomed her many grandchildren one after the next. She always wanted to have her family around her and cherished her time with all her loved ones. She is predeceased by her husband, Jacob Mashcovich. Adored mother-in-law to Raphael, Anat and Rachel. Cherished grandmother and great-grandmother to many. She will be remembered for her loving heart, her gentle nature, her kindness, generosity and wonderful spirit. She will never be forgotten. Her life is a blessing and will continue to live on in all of us. Memorial donations may be made to Beit Halochem Canada, Aid to Disabled Veterans of Israel at 905-695-0611.
