Cherished uncle of Eden, and Bailee. Loving partner to Karen Laing. Devoted nephew of Sharyl and Jerry Kates. Special thank you to his caregiver Amy. Dear Bonnie, Andrea and family, we are so sorry to hear about Nady’s sudden passing. I’ll always remember Nady as the boy who put frogs down my bathing suit. I think that was the first thing we would talk about when we would see each other. Nady was such a crazy, unique and eccentric person. He always had a story. Dear Bonnie, Andrea and Michael, Karen and Family... This was definitely quite a shock to hear of Nady’s passing. There’s so much to remember of Nady growing up. As a young boy, I remember that he always had a big smile on his face and was a big prankster. He had everyone laughing and I’ll always remember him chasing the younger kids all over the place. Then, at one stage of his life, we remember that his second home was at Lake Wilcox, his passion sailboarding all the time. Lois and I are shocked to hear of Nady’s passing. He fought a long, hard battle and his parents told me he never complained. In earlier days I remembered his small car with all the stickers and his wind surfer on the roof. Our thoughts and prayers are with Bonnie and the family.

Dear Bonnie, I am so saddened for you and the family to learn of Nady’s passing. I have wonderful memories of our holiday meals spent together, watching my then young children mesmerized by Nady’s dazzling adventure stories and piercing explanations. I remember him sitting on the steps in our front hallway as they gathered around him. He was great with them. It was so cool that he and my Stephanie shared the same birthday. And thanks to Nady, my culinary skills advanced to include some healthy vegan choices. His was a powerful energy force, one that made a positive and lasting impact on those of us lucky to have known him. I hope your beautiful memories will give you comfort during this difficult time. As a fellow sailboarder, Nady was an inspiration. I always enjoyed listening to Nady's stories with regards to his passions for both sailboarding and his parrots.
