Our hero, beloved husband and dedicated father, Nathan (aka Nabil), passed away peacefully in the morning on 28 Heshvan 5783 (November 22). He battled the toughest type of brain cancer, fitting for a man who’s brain was his most powerful tool. He will be watching over his righteous wife Carmela and his dear children Dana, Sharone and Adam.
He lived a life full of excitement, from Iraq to Israel to Canada. Wherever he was he made everyone around him smile. He was a war hero and medic who helped liberate and defend the Jewish people in Israel. He was a brilliant Engineer. He built one of Toronto’s top tour companies and took hundreds of thousands of guests to Niagara Falls.
He did everything for his wife and children, and taught his family integrity, honour, kindness, and charity.
His memory and lessons will live on in the hearts of his family, their future generations, and all of the people who had the privilege of laughing from one of his jokes over the last 3/4 of a century.
In honour of his kindness – how even at times in his life he didn’t have much, he would still give the last change in his pocket to a stranger – we would like donations sent to Chasdei Kaduri, to help feed families in need.
Charity: Chasdei Kaduri
