Nessim was an integral part of our Sephardic services in Ottawa. I first met him during those services. He was known for his loyalty to the group, his customary offer of "snuff" to the congregation, and his distribution of candy to the children. He was proud of the fact that he knew Spanish and had visited our town Tangier in Morocco. His kindness and dedication will forever be remembered. Baruch Dayan Haemet

To the family of Nessim, Max as I met him, Abtan. I was his travel agent. I had been booking his travel twice annually to Lima since 2013. I am deeply saddened to hear of his passing. He was a kind man. It was my pleasure and I was privileged to be his consult. Be well, be safe, and I am very sorry for your loss.
