So sad to hear of Nick's passing z'l. We were just in touch again last week and he told me he had a heart attack. Such a gentleman with a rich and illustrious history that he was very proud of. I only wish we had more time to spend together. My condolences. Would like to hear from any family members if possible as I have information that I would like to share. Thank you. Nick always had his sense of humor with him in the office. He told us all the trips he made to photograph the different parts of the world and showed us the pictures too. Boy, did he ever take beautiful pictures! Rest in peace, Nick, and I know you are in a better place.

To Nick's family: Please accept my condolences. I knew Nick when he was an OPG representative to Aptec where I worked and then in other capacities in the nuclear industry. Most recently he and I met at CRPA meetings and I enjoyed learning from him. His particular recent interest in Radiation Protection from space travel was most intriguing. RIP Nick, you were a respected man. Ralph T. Bose, CRPA(R) Maple, ON Canada

I am very sad to hear about Nick's passing. I met him only a couple of years ago at a CRPA conference and we instantly became friends. I will miss him at the CRPA conference this year. Rest in peace dear Nick. Deepest condolences to family and friends.

I was very saddened to read that he passed. He had called me to apologize for missing an appointment just last week due to his heart attack. Just a few months back I was in touch with him when the Insight returned and we both recorded it, as it came back to earth and I saw how proud he was of his life achievement. He had said how his work allowed NASA to sent it and also got to see it come back. He will greatly missed. He was a true gentleman.

I was saddened by the sudden loss of a colleague and friend. During the last pensioners Christmas luncheon, he was as usual energetic and looking forward to his work. He is missed. Rest in peace.

Nick was a remarkable man, brilliant and multi-talented. He was never good at something, only great at it. I am very sad that he is no longer with us.

I met Nick through the CRPA, and we got to know each other quite well at the Saskatoon Conference. Nick's contribution to our organization is a testament to the commitment to excellence and work ethic he showed in everything he did. He was a regular contributor to our conferences, and participated in many other areas of CRPA. We are very sad to hear of his passing. On behalf of the CRPA I extend our condolences to the family.

Nick was my oldest friend of over 50 years, I shall miss our mails and infrequent meetings. This is a great shock. I shall advise his English friends. I only learned of this because my mails to him were returned and I tracked him down. Go with god Nick.

It's been two years since Nick passed away and I still think of him so often. We were so fortunate to have Nick as a dear friend of the family. He would always dress up as Santa Claus on Christmas when we were kids. Nick would arrive shortly after "Santa" left and we would always yell, "Santa was just here!! I can't believe you missed him again!!" He'd also be a regular at our dinner table during Thanksgiving and other holidays - he loved my grandma's soups and would always ask for more. He had such a great sense of humour, was knowledgeable on so many subjects, and lived such an adventurous life. I always loved hearing his stories and seeing his videos about his travels around the world. I'm so glad that we had lunch together at The Homeway near his apartment in early 2019 just before he passed. I only wish that we had enjoyed more Tim Hortons coffee get-togethers while he was still with us. He is definitely missed. If anyone wants to reach out and share stories to reminisce, don't hesitate to get in touch. My email is just my first name and my last name at gmail.
