Nora Finkler

Beloved wife of Eddie and the late Bernard, Nora passed away peacefully at the age of 86 on Friday September 3^rd after a courageous battle with cancer. Nora will be greatly missed by everyone. Mother/Mother-in-law to Chava, Marilyn & Sid, Sandra, Gail & Marty and Helen & David. Grandmother to 10 beautiful grandchildren. Daughter of the late Chaim and Buba Habib. Sister to Nitza and the late Miriam. Special thanks to the Cancer Specialists at Sunnybrook Hospital and the Palliative Care Unit at Mackenzie Health Hospital.

To Nora’s Family, Nora and I kept in contact for the many years since the passing of Bernard. I first met them when, as a volunteer, I’d spend time with Bernard, so Nora could leave the house for a short time. I’ll miss those phone calls, knew she was ill, but was shocked and saddened to discover that she had passed. My sympathy to you all.

To Nora’s family I’m sorry to hear about Nora she was such a heart warming and loving woman. I would spend time with her in the evening and even helped take her to see Eddie. I will miss her dearly. My daughter liked her so much and enjoyed talking to her. She became my cousin through her marriage to Eddie. It is so heart breaking to know she’s not here. Love from the Shuman family.
