We are saddened to hear of Normans passing. His long and active life was a tribute to your parents,Max and Maida who refused to see Normie as other than their child who deserved education and care in an age when that was not considered a need. You and your family continued that principle in a way that was an inspiration to all of us. I recall Normie coming home from the hospital at birth,clearly one of my earliest memories. It was always a pleasure to continue to see him and talk with him over the years at your home. Our deepest sympathies to all. We are sorry not to be home with you at this time Mel and Fran

The Beck family were so important to me growing up on Charlotte Street in Peterborough. I ate more that a few sandwiches in their home and learned much from Mr. and Mrs. Becks wisdom. I have fond memories of Normie and was grateful that even though our lives took us in different directions we did meet once as adults. Please know that the Becks are in my prayers during this time of bereavement. I pray that Norm is at play in the fields of the Lord.

My sister (Gayle), brother (David) and I were recalling our visits with Mayda, Max, Norman, and Libby. While growing up in Peterborough, the one thing about the Beck Family that always stood out was the love, dedication and commitment to Norman's well-being by his parents - and all of that with good humor. Being at the funeral, it brought back those wonderful memories. May Norman's memory forever be a blessing. David, Carol, Ari, Marissa, Yonit Grossman

I was so sad to hear of Norman's passing. I have been a story teller reader to Norman's group of pals at Reena for the past 19 years and have enjoyed many an afternoon with all of them. Norman was always so sweet and engaging ~ always smiling. We all will miss his presence and sweet nature. Condolences to all of his family. Risa Rocket-Feldman
