Norman Freedman, a beloved father, brother, grandfather, and friend, passed away on May 1, 2025, in Las Vegas, Nevada. He was born on November 27, 1934, in Toronto, Ontario, and his passing has left a profound void in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

Norman was a man of many talents and passions. He had a successful career in men’s fashion, owning a clothing store in Mississauga, where he touched the lives of many with his impeccable taste and warm personality. In the early 1980s, he made the bold decision to move to Las Vegas, where he lived full time and embraced the vibrant energy of the city he came to call home.

Known affectionately as “Mr. Las Vegas” by his family and many friends, Norman had a welcoming nature that endeared him to all who crossed his path. He had a passion for life and a love for sports that was infectious. His kindness and generosity knew no bounds, and he made everyone feel like family, especially those who came to Vegas for a visit or holiday.

Norman’s family was his pride and joy. He leaves behind his daughter, Denise Malone, who will forever cherish the memories of her father’s unwavering love and support. He is also survived by his sister Fay Clasky, and his brother Ben, brother-in-law, Al Clasky, and his nieces and nephews, Lisa, Brian, Gary, Howard, Tzivia, and Lani, will always hold him close in their hearts. Additionally, he leaves behind his grandson, Judah, who brought immeasurable joy and pride into his life.

Norman was predeceased by his brothers, Jack and Harvey, as well as his sister-in-laws, Marie and Sharon. Their memories will forever be intertwined with his, and their legacy will live on through the love and laughter they shared.

The impact of Norman’s passing is felt deeply by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His warm smile, genuine laughter, and unwavering love will be dearly missed. The memories of his kindness and the joy he brought to those around him will continue to inspire and comfort those who mourn his loss.

The graveside service to honour Norman’s life will be held on Sunday, May 11th, at 12 noon at Pardes Chaim Cemetery General Section. This will be a time for family and friends to come together to celebrate his life, share stories, and find solace in each other’s company as they bid farewell to a remarkable man who touched so many lives.
