It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Paull Gerring, On Tuesday December 29, 2020, at Seniors Health Centre. Devoted and loving Husband to Sandy for 67 years. Loving Father to Linda Gerring, Lori and Jeffrey Freedman. Adored Poppy to Marci Freedman, Harrison and Sarra Freedman. Dear Brother to Sue Gordon, and the late Harlan Gerring. Paull will be fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews, extended family, and family friends. Special thank you to the staff of Seniors Health Centre for all their care and compassion over the years.

His life was measured in yards and metres. Always with a joke or smile to share as a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and father-in-law. Baruch Dayan HaEmet. He is now resting, no longer a pin cushion for doctor care, no pains, only now in peace.

Dear Family, So sorry to hear about Paull's passing. I do remember him when I was young child in Rochester. Of course, I remember his mom and dad, Susan and Harlan. What a large, grand old family, with all the warmth and michegas. And there were just so so. many cousins. I hope he passed peacefully and quickly with little suffering. Love, Joan Margolis

Sandy Lori Linda Jeffrey Harrison Sarra & Marci little did I know that on Friday 24th.2020 would be the last time I would be talking to Paull wishing him a Happy 87th Birthday. Instant friendship with Sandy & Paull goes back to the 70"s while on vacation in Acapulco.Many happy memories over the years.Sandy & Paull had a great relationship I remember rain or shine EVERY SATURDAY they would go to their favourite restaurant & then to a movie. It was their time together.I remember on one vacation in Acapulco Paull would sit and read a book when we would ask him to join us for a walk on the beach he declined he kept reading for days.When finally he went for a swim I tore out the last page of his book.The look on his face at the end of the book was priceless.He complained for days about the way it ended he said it didn't make any sense.When we arrived back in Toronto I mailed him the missing page.Thank goodness he had a good sense of humour.He will be missed.Paull was a good husband proud father & father-in-law.Remember all the good times together.Take care stay healthy & strong.Love as always Roz .

Dear Sandy and family, So very sorry to hear about the passing of Paull. We became friends, when we met in Acapulco in about 1969!I remember your gracious dinners on Brockington and how are families connected. It was Paull and you, who introduced us to the elegant dining room, at the top of the TD, on the 54 Th floor.
