ROBBINS, Pearl (née Weinper) – On Saturday, January 20, 2024 peacefully at home. Pearl Robbins, beloved wife of the late David Robbins. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Larry Robbins and Marsha Kideckel, Debra and George Hanff, Karen Robbins and Michael Kanter, and Eric Robbins and Diana Brecher. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Shirley and Arnold Gilbert, the late Betty and Dave Generich, Marilyn Weinper and the late Jerry Weinper, the late Helen and Morrie Kamiel, and the late David Weinper. Devoted grandmother of Jer and Janet, Tamara and Edward, Josh and Natasha, Ben and Miggy, Jacob, Nathan, Gabriel, Lisa, and Justin and Nancy. Devoted great- grandmother of Noah, Amelia, Rylan, Jadeyn, Myelle, Jacob, and Ella. The family is eternally grateful to Pearl’s outstanding caregivers: Theresa Fernandez, Thelma Abriam, Gemma Felix, Bernadette Durolfo, Evelin Quisil, and Gloria Aquino. They also wish to thank the incredibly compassionate, responsive, and wise care provided to Pearl by Dr. Noam Berlin, Nurse Practitioner Tina Parassaki, and Dr. Sandy Buchman of the Freeman Institute for the Advancement of Palliative Care, and Palliative Care Nurse Ezekiel Toda of VHA Home HealthCare. The funeral service will be held on Monday, January 22nd at Temple Sinai, 210 Wilson Avenue, Toronto at noon, with burial following at Pardes Shalom Cemetery, 10953 Dufferin Street, Vaughan, in the Temple Sinai section.
