We are deeply saddened to announce the sudden death of our beloved husband, father and grandfather Rabbi Tobi Gabriel.

A graveside funeral will take place tomorrow March 21, 2023 at 2:00pm at Pardes Shalom Cemetery in Chayei Olam section.

Memorial donations can be made to Zichron Menachem.

He was instrumental in my learning to read Torah , having been the only male in the first class of adult females to have an adult Bat Mitzvah. Upon learning of Rabbi Tobi Gabriel's passing, I was filled with great sadness. My initial encounter with him took place at Zichron Yisroel, a shul that we both frequented. Subsequently, I aided him and others during the high holiday services at B'nai Shalom for many years. Additionally, Rabbi Tobi Gabriel lived in the same abode as my deceased mother-in-law, which gave me the opportunity to run into him and his beloved wife while visiting. His angelic voice, sagacity, and benevolence were qualities that made him stand out as a remarkable individual. He treated people with the utmost dignity, regardless of their religious background. This news has profoundly saddened me, as well as my spouse and children. Despite our grief, we will cherish fond memories of him and offer our sincere condolences to his family.

We just learned of Tobi's passing.He was an integral part of our adult learning with my adult Bat Mitzvah and learning Torah cantillation and the learner"s Shabbat program at BT.His wonderful Passover Seder tapes are listened to before Seders each year and it is always a pleasure to listen to his voice.You and Tobi have a special place in our Jewish lives.
