Goldfinger, Regina, peacefully on Thursday, July 7, 2016 at her home. Beloved wife of Charles Goldfinger. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Lorie and Anne, Howie and Marjie, and Ralph and Sharon, and the late Marvin Goldfinger. Cherished grandmother of Michelle and Jamie, Danielle and Christopher, Natalie and Jordan, James and Ula, Paul and Ellen, Marc, Daina, and Sierra. Great grandmother of Moishe, Ivy, Rilyn, Jaxson, Matilda, Charlotte, and the late Menachem. We were next door neighbours of Regina and Charlie for 10 years but moved to a different street last year. Regina certainly was a very special person to our family as we shared many mitzvahs, celebrations and street life together. We will always remember Regina's true compassion and concern for us as she would always check-in with us to see how the kids were doing or if we had left a light on or just to say hello and chat. She was certainly a very special and unique person and will be missed by us all.

My condolences to Charlie and all of the family. Your wonderful, strong and caring Regina was my Amigo Beach and Parker Plaza neighbour for many years. I have so many memories of our times together, including, watching the moon landing, going for a stroll on Amigo Drive, dining at Sholom Haifa Kosher Restaurant and listening transfixed as Regina told us the story of how she survived the Shoah. I wish Charlie good health and strength.

We are the grandchildren of the late Helen Kranz who survived the Shoah with Regina and remained a close friend until Helen passed away in 2010. We are so very sorry for your loss. We met with Regina a couple of years ago during a trip to Toronto and talked with her about her experiences with Helen during the Shoah. What an amazing woman with a truly fantastic outlook on life.
