It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Regina Spiler. Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 11, 2025 at the age of 104 surrounded by her loving family. Devoted wife of the late Karl. Survived by her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Special thanks to the staff at Baycrest Apotex Centre.

Memorial Service Location: Chapel service at Steeles Memorial Chapel, 350 Steeles Ave. West, Thornhill

Burial Service Location: Pardes Shalom Cemetery, 10953 Dufferin St., Maple, B'nai Torah section

Shiva Details: 131 Beecroft Rd., Apt.1701, Toronto, M2N 6G9. Shiva visits on Thursday till 7 p.m., Friday 1 to 3 p.m., Sunday through Tuesday 2 to 4 p.m., and 7 to 9 p.m. Evening prayers at 7 p.m. Shiva concludes Wednesday morning.

We privileged to be visitors at Baycrest for Regina. She gave a huge amount to our lives. I'm sorry we didn't know about the passing and that we are not able to get to the shiva We loved her. I would tell her she was a Shabbat candle spreading the lifht of Judaism's beauty. She loved her family and Israel. I rarely have met such an appreciative person. Thank you, Heather, Renana and Joe (Renanah's husband who came with us and also spoke to her when we called from our visits to Israel.)
