Richard BIELAWSKI (April 25, 1946 – May 10, 2024)

Passed away peacefully in hospital surrounded by family. Beloved wife for 49 years of Rayna Bielawski.

He will be greatly missed by his daughter Deanna (Yaniv), his brothers Lenny (Freda), Eric, his sister Helen (Louis), brother in law Sheldon (Sylvie), his grandchildren Jamie and Matthew, his nieces Anna (Dave), Alana (Aren), and his nephews Michael (Jess) Jesse (Jackie), Nathan, Jordan, his great nieces and nephews Isabella, Michaela, Sophie, Gabriel, Asher, Cooper, Avi, Eli, Jacob, Solomon, Leo and Joshua.

Memorial Donation can be made to Alzheimers Society of Ontario

Date of Death: Friday, May 10, 2024

Date of Funeral: Tuesday, May 14, 2024

Time of Funeral: 12:30 PM

Memorial Service Location: Steeles Memorial Chapel - 350 Steeles Ave W, Thornhill, ON L4J 6X6

Burial Service Location: Beth Tzedec Cemetery - 5822 Bathurst St, North York, ON M2R 1Y6

Shiva Details: Shiva will be held: After service till 5:00pm Wednesday - Thursday 1:30 pm - 5:00pm, 6:30pm - 8:00pm Friday 1:30pm - 5:00pm Services will be held at 7:00pm Remainder of shiva will be held privately.

My Dear Bielawski Family, I don't know if you remember me but I remember your entire family so fondly and "Itchy". I actually thought "Itchy" was Richard's actual name. Our parents were best friends with the Applebaums, who were at my wedding, and I recall so warmly the joyous times our families shared growing up together on Spadina, Major Street, Lissom Crescent, and Greenwin. I am so sorry for your loss and may your memories of Itchy bring you comfort.
