Mel and Diane

Dearest Lou, Howie, Jason and Terry In mourning the passing of your beloved Riva, we look back 29 years when we arrived in Toronto as new immigrants. Riva was an amazing friend to us.....and in her quiet modest way we knew that we could always count on her for assistance, advice and support. She was a friend in a million, a beautiful woman inside and out. She offered to help Mel out over a busy period and that bit of help lasted several years. The hysterical antics she arranged on Mel's Birthday are a memory forever. Her care and kindness to Mel's parents was overwhelming..always with Louis at her side. Riva brought out the best in everyone. We remember her as a truly special individual........she was talented, kind ,caring and totally invested in the people she loved. And what an amazing family you are in the way you all cared for her and supported her in the long protracted illness she suffered. May Rivas memory be a blessing to you all. We wish you strength in your sadness and comfort from the wonderful memories you have of your beloved Riva Mel and Diane

Dear Louis and family, We were so sad to hear of Riva's passing and wish you all good health and much strength at this sorrowful time. We know that Riva had been ill for sometime now and are glad to know she will not suffer further. She was a friendly, lovely and family-conscious lady who we know will be very sadly missed.
