My deepest condolences to Roanne's family and friends. It is saddening to hear of the passing of this BRIGHT SOUL. I don't know how she kept track of so many people but every year when we worked together, she would leave a voice message on your Birthday. This was only one of the MANY thoughtful things I would remember her fo. JVS was a big part of her life and she was a BIG part of JVS for MANY years. We found out we shared the same birthday so naturally became bday buddies which gave us many great memories to share festivities (not to mention free bday meals at different restaurants, which we would always have a good laugh about). Dear Feldbloom Family I am so sorry to hear about the passing of Roanne (we at JVS called her Ro). Ro was our front line woman; the clients and staff all adored Ro and enjoyed seeing her first thing in the morning after her morning coffee stop at the South East corner of Bathurst and Eglinton. Ro could be counted on as the person who remembered everyone's birthday at work and in fact, she would have a card waiting for you on your desk with her famous Ro smiley face at the end of her birthday greeting. I personally was devastated when Ro left JVS and in fact, I believe that her departure was likely the beginning of her decline. She regarded JVS as her family as so many of us did many years ago. That family culture at work kept Ro going and no one was able to replace Ro's warm and friendly reception. When Ro left JVS she stayed in touch with some of us through Facebook. She will be missed but her kindness and gentle soul will be remembered forever.

Dear Roxanne, when I think of you, I think of my first day at JVS and being introduced to you. You welcomed me, as you did to many others., with a beaming smile and kind words. You were so gentle, caring and compassionate with the clients and your colleagues! I loved getting voicemail karaoke birthday wishes, as did everyone else you considered a friend! When we brought our kids to the office, you took them under your wing and kept them busy by helping you throughout the day! My little niece still has the pictures of you snd her. Roanne was the first person who greeted and made me feel welcomed at our work site. She was always kind, thoughtful, considerate, and helpful. One of the best colleagues I have ever worked with. She was very cheerful and would cheer me up. Two of the best memories that I have of Roanne are; she would always tell me to eat my lunch and don't skip and the other is her singing birthday wishes on my voicemail. I missed our morning breakfast date where I would bring her coffee. You were truly missed at work, Roanne. I wish you a happy journey and may your Rest in Peace.

To the family, my condolences. As many already stated, Roanne was a kind person and an exceptional human being given the health challenges she had to deal with over her lifetime. Fiercely independent. I remember her as well as being 'The Voice' of JVS, going out of her way for clients and staff alike. We used to sometimes meet in the neighbourhood at Second Cup for coffee over many years, especially in the late Spring and Summer when she carried her little dog with her, and we sat outside. When she'd shop, I'd sometimes make sure she made it to the entrance of her apartment buiding safely with her bags. We had some lovely chats during those times, including when I would run into her at Baycrest. Her warmth she exhibited to others was a rare gift, and she will be missed. May her love and strength carry you forward in her blessed memory.
