Robert Hoffman

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved father, Robert/Bob Hoffman, who passed away on Wednesday, February 21^st 2024.

Bob was born on October 19^th 1943 in Montreal and lived a life filled with purpose, touching the lives of those around him with his warmth and generosity. He was a cherished father and loyal friend. He approached every aspect of life with dedication and a genuine sense of enthusiasm.

As an Insurance Agent, he excelled in his field, earning the respect and admiration of everyone he served.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Bob reveled in creating lasting memories with his loved ones, whether it be through family vacations, holiday celebrations, watching sports, playing golf, or quiet moments at home. His love for his children was immeasurable.

Bob is survived by his sons Adam and Marc, daughter in-law Sydni and his two grandsons, Louie and Sonny. Although he may no longer be with us in person, the memories and values he instilled in those he touched will live on forever.

A graveside burial service will be held on Monday, February the 26^th at 11:00am EST at Pardes Chaim Cemetery 11818 Bathurst Street, Richmond Hill, Ontario.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to the Prostate Cancer Foundation or RSEQ/GMAA (The Greater Montreal Athletic Association) in Robert Hoffman’s honour.

Please note that upon arriving at the cemetery, please locate the black hearse as Robert’s service will be the only one occurring at 11 a.m.

Bob was a very unique person in many ways. He was very well read in current events. His financial acumen was second to none. His memory was awesome. He could tell you things that you had forgotten years ago. He was great at finding golf balls. He had a great sense of humour(most times). There was no one word answer with Bob. It usually included a history of the subject. All in all Bob was a good friend. My condolences to you his family. He will be long be remembered. He passed to early. Rest in peace Bob.

I had the pleasure of meeting and working with Bob through the same insurance agency for the past four years. Bob had an astounding memory for detail and could recount any story or event in meticulous detail even if it was repeated for the hundredth time. I know how much he loved his family and how dedicated he was to his insurance clients. He will be sadly missed by those whose lives he touched. May his memory be a blessing to his family
