Passed away peacefully on Friday, September 29, 2023. Sister of Harvey Gordon and sister-in-law of Beverley Gordon. Thank you to the staff of Valleyview Residence for their care and compassion. She will be greatly missed and remembered by all who knew her.

Always the life of the party and the one who generally threw it! I will miss my special cousin for a very, very long time. She was one of the kindest people I ever met, and would do just about anything for you. In every family, there is often one person that everybody really loves. Rochelle was that relative. Rest well my dear cousin. You have earned it. And you will not be forgotten.

We shall miss and fondly remember Rochelle for the kind and and sociable person she was. She always delighted us with her homemade apple sauce and honeycake at our seder,chanukah and Thanksgiving events. Rochelle endeavoured successfully to host family Chanukah gatherings for many years. She was loved by everyone.

She drove across country with me when I moved from Illinois to Vancouver. Rochelle was a loyal friend. She was a fun traveling companion always up for an adventure. I remember her as a lovely child, a lovely teen, and a woman of dignity and grace. I was stunned to learn of her passing. While we had lost touch in recent years, I cherish her as a dear lifelong friend.

Dear Harvey and Beverley, I am sorry to learn of Rochelle’s death. We learned bridge together in 1972 and played together for many, many years. I saw her a few months ago. She was a lovely, generous, kind and happy person who impacted whoever she met. Her memory is a blessing.

It is so very sad to say that I just learned of Rochelle's passing. I worked at Exhibits International for 7 years and got to know Rochelle very well. In no time at all we became good friends, often going out for dinner and talking for hours. We frequented 'Honest Ed's' and shared a lot of laughter while dragging our bags of discounted products down the aisle. She revered her parents and would tell me stories of her very happy childhood. She would often talk about her days while living in Rochdale during the hippie era and I remember how hard she would laugh when she told me her bedroom was so small, she had to fall into it vertically. Rochelle and I would often call each other from her nursing home in Etobicoke but she could never remember the name of it. I called every nursing home in Etobicoke but could not find her anywhere. I called her former employer but they did not know where she was staying either. I miss her laughter. I miss calling her and asking for her opinion. I miss having dinner with her and sharing great conversations. She was very smart, methodical and extremely kind. How I miss you, dear Rochelle.
