With deep sadness we announce the passing of Roman Perelshtein on December 10, 2024. Together with his beloved wife of 55 years, Lilya, they created a beautiful life and family. Roman was a loving father to Eric (Heather) and Marilyn (Dustin), and the proudest grandfather to Nathan, Spencer, Sofia and Dalia – who simply adored their Zaida Roma. He leaves behind his older brother, Mark (Zhanna), and sister-in-law Ella (Victor) along with many nieces and nephews, all whom he loved as his own.

Roman had a heart of gold and a love of music. Whether playing the piano or accordion while watching his grandkids dance around him or playing the cello in an orchestra or singing in a choir, he was happiest making people smile with his music. He will be remembered for always greeting everyone with a warm smile and ensuring everybody felt welcome in his home. He was a tremendous and passionately caring friend to all who knew and loved him. He will be missed deeply but remembered so very fondly.
