Ronald Israel Brass – June 16th, 1951 – August 4th, 2021

There are few words to express the deep pain and sorrow of losing a person as special, unique and wonderful as our brother Ron. First born son to our wonderful parents Jack and Rose. He was a loving brother to Linda, Steven and Brian. Amazing uncle to Justin, Madison, Adam, Jordan, Diana, Sharon and great uncle to Josh. Loving brother-in-law to Ronnie, Camille and Donna. Ron was also extremely close to the Girvitz family for most of his life, Gerry, Beverley Ann, Sheldon, Mark and Tammy, who he considered his second family and loved dearly. Ron had many friends from all walks of life and cared for them all. He had a huge heart and never felt better than when he was given the opportunity to help someone. His sense of humor, playfulness and ability to never take life too seriously is something we will never forget. I think we can all agree few of us have ever met or known a warmer person who was so easy to love. Ron was a sensitive and loyal person. Everyone else’s battles became his battles. Ron’s passing has left a void that can never be filled and a wound that will never mend for most of us. Our only solace from this incredible loss is that Ron is no longer suffering and perhaps he has now joined our parents who he missed greatly.
