On the night of Sunday February 25th, Ronald Howard Urman passed at his Lakehouse with family. Father of Levy (Sina) and Lluvia. Son of Edith and Temmy Urman. Brother of Sharyn and Tony Lewis and Tina Urman and Carey Diamond. Uncle Bonk/Buck to Nancy (Kevin), Ryan, Evan, Temmy, Shayn (Katie), Sunny (Sean), Rory, and great nieces and nephews. Loved by Esther (Alan), his best friend and Levy’s mother. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday February 28th at 1pm at Steeles Memorial Chapel, 350 Steeles Avenue West. Interment to follow at Pardes Chaim Cemetery. Shiva at 35 Millbank Ave, Toronto M5P 1S4. Please check the website for days and times. Although it's been many, many years since Ronnie and I had spoken, I was shocked and saddened to hear of his passing. As teenagers, we were very close and shared many happy, fun-filled adventures. Our fathers, Eddie and Temmy, were also very close friends and passed away within months of each other. I am so sorry for your loss.

My first gift from a young man was from Ronnie. I think we were 12!! Over the years we lost touch but I see Esther often and Ronnie was always a part of our conversations. At 12 he became part of my heart and there he will always stay. I hope that the overwhelming sadness and ache in your hearts will slowly be replaced with smiles and enormous gratitude for having had Ronnie in our lifes. I wish you all long life.

I was traveling up until recently. I learned of Ronald’s passing upon my return. I knew Ronald in the later years of his life. He lived and loved fiercely and the words that he often quoted and lingered were “All we are is dust in the wind”. He was a kindred spirit, my very special friend.
