It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ronald Kopman on Saturday, July 16, 2022. Beloved father and father-in-law of Bob (Nancy) and Mark (Sheryl). Predeceased by his beloved daughter, Michelle. Treasured son of Jean Biderman. Loving brother of Brenda Gayle and Elaine Kopman (Howard). Predeceased by his dear sister, Debi Leff (Marc). Loving grandfather to Laurel, Kyle, Ben, Leo, Noah, and Holden. Ron will be greatly missed by his nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He will be remembered with love always.

The family will be observing Shiva at 132 Summitcrest Dr., Richmond Hill, L4S 1A9. Shiva visitors are welcome immediately following the interment, and daily from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Shiva concludes Friday morning, July 22nd.

To the entire Kopman family, I have been good friends with Bob for the past 44 years. We met in grade 9 and I remember during my teenage years and early 20’s how Mr. Kopman (Ron) was so amazing as a Dad with Bob, Mark and Michelle. I was even included in some of their family events such as Mr. Kopman playing football with us, including me when they went bowling and playing squash with Bob at Mr. Kopman’s condo and interacting with him there. As well, I observed how much Mr. Kopman adored and cherished his family. He will be greatly missed but very much remembered.
