Roni Gordon

It is with a heavy heart we announce the passing of Roni Gordon on Tuesday, February 27th, 2018 at Hill House Hospice with her family by her side. Roni was a loving wife of 55 years to Michael, her beloved husband and partner. A cherished mother and mother in law to Peter, Stacey and Steve, Heidi and Zev. She was a loving and devoted Nana to Zachary, Abby, Jesse, Marley, Rachel, Evan, Jesse and Mackenzie. Roni was a fearless, honest and loving person who had a “take charge” attitude and always approached life with such positivity ... even when it was hard to find sometimes. She had an incredible sense of humour and always called a spade a shovel and made no apologies for it. I will miss your quick wit, your story telling and the way you always knew the right things to say to make someone feel better. To Mike Heather, Peter, Heidi and Staci, Roni was my first cousin, we spent our entire childhood together our mothers were best friends. We were flower girls at Ruthie and Al Shainers wedding, my Aunt Mollie made us matching dresses. I was so happy when Mike and her moved to Florida and we got to spend time together.
