Passed away peacefully September 4th, 2024.

Loving Mother of David and Louise Kiner. Cherished Mother-In-Law of Peter Hudson. Proud Grandmother of Julian Hudson.

A special thanks to the staff and all her friends at Weston Gardens Retirement Residence who became a second family.

A heartfelt thank you to Ruby Palmarino for giving Rosalie the chance to rediscover her love of Art.

Rosalie will be deeply missed by Stanly, Myrna, Carol and Elaine.

Rosalie will be fondly remembered by her family, friends and all who knew her.

May her memory be a blessing.

I have too many fond memories of Rosalie. From being taken to the Dutch grocery store to discover some amazing treats to being driven to Laurier University to watch Joe Jackson for the first time. Rosalie was like a second mom and will be deeply missed. May her memory always be a blessing

I always thought of Tante Roos as the “cool aunt who had great style!” She had such a positive attitude and loved life. She gifted us with a painting that we will cherish forever. Our love to you all. May memories bring comfort and be a blessing.

Dear Louise & Peter, grandson Julian & son David Kiner. I am very sorry for the loss of your beloved mother, Rosalie Else Kiner. She was a very special lady who would inform people of the trying times that she endured during the holocaust. Thank G-d that she survived! Rosalie was loved dearly by all who knew her. Her family at Weston Gardens are filled with heavy hearts due to her passing. A cherished memory for all of us will be Rosalie at the dance party a couple of weeks ago. She was one of the last to head home after the dance and talked about it for days. It was so much fun, and she enjoyed it very much. My heart goes out to each family member and to each friend at this time. We all have lost a dear friend, and she will be truly missed. Her talent of art and her sparkle for life will be truly remembered.

Julian Hudson

Rosalie wasn't just any grandma, she was my grandma. A survivor and fighter to the end, she will truly be missed by all of us, especially by me, her grandson, who loved her dearly. May she rest in peace and her memory be a blessing to us all.

I have such fond memories of visiting Tanta Roos and Uncle Stan back in the 70s. I always loved how she would grit her teeth when she told me she loved me. I will hold onto those warm and fun memories. She is the last one born in her family and the last one to close the chapter. Always remembered, never forgotten.
