Kerkofsky, Rose M. nee Rakowsky

Mother of Helen Rubinoff and Barbara Skarf (Barry Skarf). Devoted wife, Mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother. Rose, who was married to Joe Kerkofsky, was widowed in 1957 and left to raise her 12 year old and 9 year old daughters. A homemaker, Rose began her career and worked for many years at Richman’s Bakery. Rose was a brave, strong, generous and loving role model. Her death leaves a void in her large family which extends from Canada to the USA to Jerusalem, Israel.

Shiva arrangements:

Helen Rubinoff will be sitting outdoors at 1 Pannahill Road, Shiva hours are 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday, August 9, 2021 to Friday August 13, 2021

Barbara Skarf will be sitting at 41 Kirkland for Monday, August 9, 2021, then returning to Detroit for the balance of the Shiva.
