Surrounded by family on March 30, 2022, Rose Roberts in her 94th year, passed away after a short illness. A deeply devoted spouse and soul mate to Walter whose friendship and love spanned over 60 years. Loving mother to Dr. Michael Roberts & Carrie Clark, Ronnie & Debi, Lawrie & Lori, Jeffrey & Rhonda and her treasured and loving niece Heather Cooper, Joel and Emily. Her greatest pleasure was being a Bubbie to her cherished grandchildren and partners Rebecca & Shawn, Cody, Jordan & Amanda, Daniel, Adam, Jacob, Sarah & Sean, Dara, Danielle and Erin. Sister and sister-in-law to the late Moe & Shirley Emer and Leon & Evelyn Emer. Sister-in-law to the late Herbie Roberts & Karen of Syracuse, NY and sister-in-law of the late Frank Roberts. Rose embraced every moment that life gave her. Her natural warmth touched the lives of all those whom she befriended and especially her lifelong friend Francie and very good friends Niki, Lorraine and Lilian and all the many nieces, nephews and extended family in her role as the family matriarch. She thrived in her 4 years living at VIVA Thornhill Woods and delighted in her new friendships and meaningful activities.  Rose supported Walter in the creation of Walter Roberts Insurance Brokerage, an insurance agency that is distinguished and respected by the community. Sincere thanks to Dr. Shin and team at Mackenzie Health Cortellucci for the sincere caring and kindness they provided to Rose over the last several weeks. A funeral service will be held Friday, April 1st at 11 a.m. in the Steeles Memorial Chapel, for COVID vaccinated guests wearing masks. Interment to follow at Pardes Shalom Cemetery, New Beth Tikvah section. Donations in Rose’s memory may be made to the Disabled Veterans of Israel, beithalochem.ca 905-695-0611

All shiva visitors must be fully vaccinated. The family asks that all visitors wear masks, respect capacity and time limits, and practice social distancing. If you’ve been exposed to COVID or display any symptoms, the family respectfully asks that you do not attend the shiva.
