ROSEN, Rose – On Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at North York General Hospital, at age ninety one and a half. Rose Rosen, beloved wife of the late Jack Rosen for 67 years. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Janice and David Greenberg and Steve and Joanne Rosen. Dear grandmother to Laura and Chris, Carly, Josh and Sarah, Adam, and Michael and Megan and great-grandmother to Ezra and Evelyn.

Memorial donations may be made to the Sunnybrook Hospital Foundation at 416-480-4483 or the charity of your choice.

Shiva will be held privately due to COVID, but the family welcome calls and virtual visits; please contact Janice or Steve directly to schedule.

Your mom was a woman of quiet strength who was calm and down-to-earth but knew what was what. She always made me feel so welcome in her home and I treasure the memories of those wonderful dinners- who knew there could so many delicious ways to cook chicken and oh, the cakes and the pies (Rose Rosen would never bake just ONE pie!). I loved your mom and it was an honour when she called me her other daughter.
