B”D”E. Roy was a prolific creative force at Shaarei Tefillah Congregation. His achievements included running the annual fundraising dinner for many successful years, and for bringing in big name speakers for the Miriam Alkin Memorial Lecture Series in honour of his late wife. He will be fondly remembered for his humour, intelligence, organizational skills, and I heard a rumour that he occasionally liked to share a drink.

Wishing Long life to the Alkin Family. Knew Roy first through golf at Edmunstown Golf Club in the 60’s and later we had both moved at different times to Toronto. Always enjoyed Roy’s company, A lovely man. Moira and Steven Black
