To Sammy and Family, Ruben was a great man. A man I always looked up to when Sammy and I were kids. Well, I probably realized this more once we got a little older what a great father he was. Your parents allowed us space to make mistakes as kids but were firm at the same time. Lessons need to be learned and we learned a lot of them! Through the years, the Benchitrit family home was, without question, a place I always felt welcome in. I offer my sincerest condolences to the entire family from the Moore's in North Bay. BDE Reuben was such a gentleman and a mench. I was his accountant when he was involved in construction. He always looked after his clients and went to the N'th degree to make sure they were satisfied. So sorry to hear is your loss

Dear Benchitrit family .. it has been 40 years since Ruben redesigned my parent's home. People have always praised its comfortable elegance and beauty. I still live here .. and they still do. Due to the uprise in Covid-19 numbers in the community, Steeles Memorial Chapel will be suspending chapel services until further notice. Graveside services will be limited to 25 people including clergy. Masks are to be worn by all that attend gravesides services.

The abhorrent acts committed by the globally recognized terrorist organization Hamas on the citizens of Israel are reprehensible. The blatant disregard for humanity and the destruction they have inflicted on our homeland and its people is heartbreaking. These atrocities have absolutely devastated our communities and many others around the world.

While Hamas may be working to create division amongst inhabitants of our homeland and throughout the globe, it is now more important than ever to stay unified as one.
