It is with great sadness that we inform you of the passing of Ruth Krakowski on Sunday September 24, 2023. Beloved daughter of the late Esther and Leon Krakowski. Sister to Wolf (Paula) and Mark Krakowski. Will be sadly missed by her loving friend Martin Jacobs. Ruth was a caring and gracious person , and a good friend to those fortunate to know her. She was a creative and stylish woman whose interests included travel and Yiddish culture. She will be greatly missed.

Shiva Details: Following the interment service until 5:30 p.m. and then from 8-9:30 p.m., Thursday 2-5 pm, 8 p.m. - 9:30 p.m., Friday 11 a.m. - 1 p.m.

You were her world, you did everything to help her and she valued your friendship so very much and was so grateful. Ruthela was an angel, a lover of life, music, art, and she was also very, very funny. She was steadfastly true to her heritage, and to her parents, who survived the Holocaust and fled to Toronto, where I first met her. For over fifty years she has been an honoured presence in all of our lives.
