ELIASOPH, Ruth (nee Nemtin). With great sadness, we announce the passing of our beloved mother and mother- in- law Ruth Eliasoph at the age of 92 at Sunrise of Thornhill on Tuesday, September 8, 2020 after a life well lived.

Ruth was an intelligent, well-read, intellectually curious woman. Ruth, together with her husband Sim passed on their deep appreciation and love of Lake Patrick in the Laurentians to their extended family.

Loving wife of 48 years of the late Sim Eliasoph, daughter of the late Ben and Bessie Migicovsky. Proud mother and mother-in-law of Hy & Laila, David & Josee, Benjamin & Kathy. Loving Bubi of Daniel, Adena, Dahlia, Ashley, Gabriella, Ilana, Kimberly and Amanda. Adoring grand-Bubi of Noa. Caring aunt of her many nieces and nephews.

Dear sister and sister-in-law of the late Boris (Buzz) and Jenny Nemtin, the late Sidney Nemtin, Marianne Nemtin Suliteanu, the late Milton and Sybil Eliasoph, and the late Sidney and Annette Weisbord.

Lovingly remembered by extended family and friends.

Special thanks to the caring staff at Sunrise and to her recent caregivers who treated her with respect and compassion. A warm thank you to the wonderful Palliative Care Team from the LHIN who provided dedicated assistance.

A private family graveside service will be held in Montreal.
