Our heart and soul left us on Thursday, June 13—the 10th of Sivan—in his 93rd year. Husband of 61 years to his beloved Rita; father and father-in-law to Paul & Lillian, Rena & Fred, Steven & Rebecca; Zaida (Grandfather) to Tamara & Moshe, Adira & Daniel, Yardena & Ross, Marc, Zev, Samantha, Corey, Benjamin, Jonathan, Lauren, and Daniel; Zaida Sam (Great-Grandfather) to Na’amah, Chanina, Aurelia (Chanaleh), and Emmett. Loving uncle to many nephews & nieces all over the world. Heartfelt gratitutde is extended too Jeanly, Chernette, and Darrel for the beautiful compassion they showed and effort they provided to keep our Sammy going and comfortable in his waning months. Our Sammy. He was the mezinick (baby) of his family, a Holocaust (Shoah) survivour, and the last of his generation. A true gentleman. Adored by all who met him. His indomitable spirit and optimism through even the darkest times will forever be an inspiration and live within all of us.
