I am so sorry to hear about the passing of your father and brother, Condolences to the entire family, may you only know good times.

Dearest Jacqueline, Roz, Karen, We are so sad to know our Sammy is gone. Our warm condolences go out to all of you. It is difficult to comprehend our world without Sam in it. His appreciation for life, his positive attitude he passed on to everyone he met and loved will never be forgotten. The love and affection he had for his children and grandchildren was special. Marvin and Sammy go back almost 60 years! Marvin has many warm and happy memories shared with Sam; summers spent in Kincardine, road trips, motorcycle trips and many adventures. Sam will be remembered as a warm, loving, caring, strong, exuberant human being. A fighter, with no surrender! There was no one like our SAMMY BROWN!

I am so sorry to hear about your dad. My heart and thoughts are with you.

My brother Julius and I got to Sam in our early teens. He was easygoing and always friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, over time as we moved on life, we drifted apart. But, If we saw each other at a function or just bumped into each other on the street, the feelings of warmth and friendship came back as if they had never ended. My condolences to the family and his brother Avram.

To my dearest friend. Sam & our children Jaclyn, Aaron , son-in-law Simon and all the grandchildren Shane , Megan & Isla. Losing you is so devastating and no words can ever really relieve the pain you are all feeling now. Cry when you feel like it & laugh when it comes. We never understand why some things happen in life. One thing you can be sure of it that you are loved by those who care deeply. Sam was my oldest friend & have known each other since I was 8 years old, about 60 yrs. He was quite the character. There are so many stories, some I can share & some I can’t for obvious reasons. To mention a few, I’ll start with his homemade soups. He was always cooking up a storm & g-d forbid you didn’t return his glass jars, we’d hear about it. For those of you who knew Sam , he was meticulous about the way he looked right down to the crease on the sleeves on his white dress shirts. Had to be perfect. After ironing a zillion shirts, I finally passed on the chore to him. Our friend Leslie used to say”stop ironing & send them to the cleaners”. Sam’s reply was “they don’t do a good job” Almost every Sunday, would visit my sister but had leave early to put a brisket in the oven. That was his favourite & became tradition. No Sundays out for dinner. Sam loved his cars or should I say his toys including his Honda Gold Wing. We’d hop on for an incredible excursion never knowing where we would end up. I can tell you this, he’d talk to every stranger making conversation & joking around even if the jokes sucked. He was definitely entertaining. Sam had an amazing sense of humour & laughing was a given . Charming was his middle name. Life didn’t come easy to him, but no matter what, he was an UPPER. He loved our daughter Jaclyn so much & tried to protect her thinking she was still his little girl. Megan & Shane were his greatest joy. He spoiled them with love, treats & always desserts or chocolate cake. As they got older he bought them bigger toys like the latest a dune buggy. Sam adored Simon & treated him like a son . They had a truly loving relationship. He was blessed. I am grateful that the last few years or so we became close friends including his lovely partner Roslyn. Sam & Frank used to sit at the dining room table for hours chit chatting. So nice to see. We were lucky that everyone got along famously. My heart is broken for Sam’s passing. We will miss your smile , caring & sense of humour. You are 1 person that will live on forever in our heart & sole. Wherever you are, have a blast!!!!! Your long time friend KARYN

I am sorry for your loss. I grew up across the street from Sammy and his mother Rita and my mother Erika were the best of friends. I have so many fond memories of the family. May his memory be a blessing.
