Sara Wallach who at 87 years of age left us too soon. She will now be with her beloved husband, Menachem Wallach. Her children, Benny & Olga, Yonah & Jerry, Mark & Natalie and Sharyn, her grandchildren, Yishai & Andrea, Orlee & Asi, Leemor, Lori, Adam, Aaron, Miriam, Daniel and Lea, David and Erin, Shane, Carly and Jordyn, her great-grandchildren Jake, Zack, Eli, Hili, Atai, Maayan, Aidan, Calloway, and Eliana all adored her and are devastated at the loss of their mom and Savta. Amazingly, she always had your favourite food ready for you when you wanted it most. A loving woman but fiercely protective of her family. She expected much of her family but gave more. Sharyn and family, I only met Sara twice, both only for a brief moment. Yet my perception of her happen through my taste and smell senses. All stories about delicious foods, pastries, and cakes she always made activated multiple senses. Every recipe from Sara was most delicious, and so her legacy (with Sharyn's talent of adding the right quantities) is spread beyond her family. And of course the best story about PETRUZILIYA puts a big smile on, whatever the situation!!! May Sara be remembered in your hearts as the nourishing, loving Ema and Savta and may her memory bring you together as a family! Karina

Dearest Wallach family, I'm completely heartbroken for you all. As you all know, Sarah (and your father) were a great part of my life growing up. Sarah was such a pleaser, always cooking her way to your heart. I know she suffered from so many physical ailments throughout her years but she always had a huge smile on her face and a word of optimism when I would see her. Sara's beauty as a person is still alive in her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. When any of them make a festive meal that is delicious and comforting it is her spirit saying "don't forget me." I will miss her calling me every birthday and visiting her during holiday times and simchas. I hope that her family and friends will only feel happiness when they think of her.
