Died peacefully at home on June 26, 2020. Beloved wife to the late Morris for
69 years. Loving mother and mother-in- law to Sydney and Rhonda, Edward
and Tammy. Cherished grandmother to Melissa, Matthew Zuk, Michelle, Hilary,
Joshua Elihu, Justin, Stephanie, Kimberly, Leora Reiter and Andrew Muller
and great grandmother to Olivia Zuk. Special thanks to Anne for her special
care and compassion. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of your
choice.

Date of Death: Friday, June 26, 2020

Yahrzeit Day: Tammuz 4

Date of Funeral: Sunday, June 28, 2020

Dear Syd, Ed and family, We are sorry for the passing of your beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Having known your mother since we were all toddlers, we all know she was full of energy and could light up a room. She was always an inviting hostess and was always there to give Ibi's advice. I will always laughingly remember our car trip to Baltimore with your family, especially when your mother continually kept telling us to drive faster. Thinking of your mother brings smiles to our faces. She will be missed. We hope in time that the wonderful memories of her will outshine the sadness. Our deepest condolences. I was so sad to hear about Ibi( that’s how our family always called her). She and your father Monyek were such dear and close friends of my parents Rozsi and Harry Markovits as well as my aunt Cubika Klein . So many memories , so many times spent together. She was a very loving friend to us, a very spirited and gutsy lady. I admired her a great deal for all these qualities .Sad to think that that whole generation of Holocaust survivors who arrived in Canada , found each other ,and supported each other are becoming a part of the past but what a future they created for their families.
