On the morning of November 25, 2021, Serafima (Sima) Potapovskaia (Tovievitch) passed away peacefully in her sleep after a short battle with cancer. She is survived by her daughter Diana Minster (Aaron) and son Shawn Potapovskai. Sima was a fiercely devoted mother, lover of the arts and all things beautiful. She was an accomplished pianist and teacher for almost 50 years who was beloved by her generations of students. Sima was a spiritual person who found joy in being surrounded by nature. She was a strong and passionate woman with abundant energy, a great sense of humour, and a true zest for life.
