It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Sonny (Seymour) Sherman.

Sonny passed away peacefully on April 1^st at North York General Hospital. Husband of the late Joni Sherman, father of Jodi Myles and Wade, his Son-in-law Lorne and grandfather to Samantha, Shawna, Stella, Jack and Leyla as well as brother to Doreen and Brother in Law Paul. For those who knew him, he will be remembered for his generosity, class and sense of humour. Thank you to the amazing nurses and doctors (Dr. Grossman) at North York General Hospital 5 North and the Baycrest Apotex staff (Mila) who enhanced his quality of life and supported him right to the end.

Date of Death: Tuesday, April 1, 2025

Yahrzeit Day: Nisan 3

Date of Funeral: Friday, April 4, 2025

Time of Funeral: 11:00 AM

Memorial Service Location: Steeles Memorial Chapel 350 Steeles Avenue West.

Burial Service Location: Pardes Chaim Cemetery 11818 Bathurst St. Maple Ontario L6A 1S2 Community Section (Bathurst/Teston)

Shiva Details: Following the Chapel service on Friday, friends and family are invited to the residence until 6:00 p.m. Shiva resumes on Sunday to Monday from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m and 7:00 p.m to 9:00 p.m.

Dearest Jodi , Lorne, Wade and Myles and all the grandchildren Sonny was a one of a kind. Our childhood memories our trips to the cottage. Florida and so much more. We were all 1 big family and what comes to mind is all the laughter and fun we all had.
