It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ralph Shimi Goodman, who was born in Toronto in 1938 and passed away peacefully in his sleep on Monday, September 22nd, 2025, at the age of 87.

Ralph was predeceased by his beloved sisters Helen, Rose, Dorothy and Ruth, , and his brother Harry. He loved his family fiercely and took immense pride in being a source of strength, support, and love for those around him.

A longtime and dedicated employee of the Toronto Transit Commission, Ralph was known for his reliability and strong work ethic. Beyond his career, he was always there to lend a hand whenever needed. Ralph’s sharp wit and sense of humor were his greatest tools for connecting with people, and he brought laughter and warmth to countless friends and loved ones throughout his life.

A funeral service in his honor will be held at Steeles Memorial Chapel on Friday, September 26th, 2025, at 11:30 a.m. Following the service and interment, the family warmly invites friends and loved ones to gather at 1131 Steeles Ave. West – Party Room to share refreshments and celebrate Ralph’s life together.

Ralph will be deeply missed, but his memory will live on in the hearts of his family and all who were fortunate to know him.
