To Marilyn , Gail. Samuel and your families: I was deeply saddened to hear of your mother’s passing ! She was a warm, beautiful lady inside and out! As a much younger cousin living away from my family your mom welcomed me to your family home for many a Shabbat dinner which was always appreciated. I have never forgotten those times! In recent years I found myself in Toronto visiting with my own children and grandchildren living there and found your mother and father living in a retirement residence and was so happy to visit them there. After your Dad passed I managed to visit your mother along with my mother who by then was well on in her 90’s. We had a lovely visit which all enjoyed! On a separate occasion I visited your mom alone and as we always did reminisced about days gone by, family get togethers, what was going on in my life ,etc. I deeply regret not to have been able to have seen your mom since! I believe our last contact was about two years ago! Now she has passed and I find myself remembering back to the many happy times we shared! Your mother will be missed by many and I want you to know that I share in your grief! Although I can not be with you at the funeral or visit you at the shiva my thoughts are with you at this very trying time.
