It’s like yesterday that we’d be playing clubbiash in the basement of Simon’s parents house and his brother would yell to turn the lights off. We all grew up and the lights being left on no longer would be an issue. I did not see enough of Simon over the years. Regardless I thought about him often and wished him nothing but the best when we would bump into one another. He was an extremely unique man and good. I know he will be missed.

Judi and I have known Simon for over 50 years and he was one of our dearest friends, and we are so sad that he has passed. I have more respect for Simon that, I think, than for anyone else that I have ever known. He had very wide-ranging interests and was a pleasure to talk to - always. It was difficult to see his decline in recent months, and to see how hard he fought his illness. Honestly, I don't know anyone else who could have handled his illness better. Despite his monetary success he always remained a humble. decent man, sure of where he came from, and where he was going. Judi and I will miss him terribly, and for us the world will not be quite the same without him. Simon: we love you and always have. Very very sad.
