Hers was a tortured existence having survived the Holocaust and having had the capacity to move forward....You two were the most caring children she could ever have wished for. Dear Lena and Harold I was very lucky to have met and to have known a grand lady like Sonia. I loved spending time with her. She had very strong opinions, forged from life experiences that are difficult to imagine. She was always thoughtful and interesting to be with - even when I did not fully agree with her. She always told me though how amazing her Lena and Harold were - you were very precious to her as were all her grandchildren. May her soul be blessed in peace .
