Stanley Ash

On Friday, June 17, 2022, Stanley passed away at home at age 92. Beloved husband of Frances for over 70 years. Loving father and father-in-law of Elaine Ash and Rayna and Brian Zucker. Dear brother of William Ash and the late Toby Berrin and Eva Wolfman. Cherished grandchildren Aaron, Ashley, Coby, Gabriela and Evan. A successful business owner for over 50 years. He designed, manufactured and installed theatrical equipment in movie and live theatres and auditoriums across North America. Service at Steeles Memorial Chapel 350 Steeles Avenue West on Sunday, June 19,2022 at 1:00 p.m. Internment at Bathurst Lawn Memorial Park. Shiva to follow. We have such fond memories of spending time with him in our younger years and celebrating many milestones. He always had such a big smile and had a warm, friendly personality. Uncle Stan was a great wonderful guy and beloved by all of the Berrin kids. Besides sharing family time while we lived in Toronto, he made many trips to visit his sister and her kids that bonded us with a lifetime of good memories. He was always game for whatever weird mischief we were up to. I will always think of him with that twinkle in his eye that is part of Ash men legacy.

My sincere condolences on your loss. Although I did not know Stanley personally, I knew his sister Eve and her husband Saul Wolfman. I once worked for them and they were such a lovely family, even under the difficult situation they were in with his illness. They made me feel like a member of the family and later, without realizing it, I became related through marriage. May you only have simchas from now on.
