PRICE, Stanley; A holocaust survivor. Passed away peacefully on April 19, 2025, surrounded by his family. Devoted husband for nearly 60 years to Marianne (Miriam). Incredible father and father-in-law to Lorna (Larry), David, Amy, and Melissa (Brian).  He will be forever missed by his loving grandchildren Adam (Eden), Jordan, Rachel, Abby, Jack, Jonah, Maya and Max. Super Zaidy to Oliver.

Dear brother and brother-in-law to the late Helen Richmond, Judith and Andrew Sanders, Erika and the late John Komlos. Cherished uncle and great-uncle to many.

The youngest of 6 children, he was born in Skarzysko-Kamienna, Poland to the late Aba and Sarah Pracownik.  He survived the holocaust through his bravery, smarts and a will to live.  He arrived in Canada with his beloved sister Helen to start a new life. Upon meeting Marianne, it was love at first sight.  They soon married, and together they built a family connected by a solid foundation of love and shared Jewish values.

Stan was a self-taught musician, playing Latin and Calypso in various bands.  A lover of the outdoors, including skiing, fishing, skating and boating.  A humble, kind and gentle human being, passionately Zionistic and authentically himself, always putting family first.

In honour of Stanley’s memory, the family kindly requests donations be made to Beit Halochem Canada, Aid to Disabled Veterans of Israel (https://www.beithalochem.ca/ways-to-donate/tribute-cards)

The family has requested that anyone who is feeling unwell wear a mask while attending the Shiva.
